#266A: Fireflies & Fish; Good light or Bad light?

Psalm 119:105-112 & John 8:12 Today's story is shorter than usual b/c we need time to discuss it. In this episode, the Bible shows us Jesus is the best light, the real light. The kids will consider if there are bad lights. This is where our fireflies and fish discussion comes in.  The magnificent light Jesus offers us helps guide us… “Your word is a lamp to my feet,  a light on my path" through God’s word. The kids will recognize that  some things try to be a brighter light than Jesus & pull our attention to it. Sometimes, these "lights" want to guide us and act like they are the best light but they aren’t. Only Jesus is the 1 true light, who wants what’s really best for us.
