Hello and welcome to No Claws, just the clamp. I'm Doug with me as Deb. The only show that wonders Deb would placebo Jones be the sequel or prequel to most of Jones where nothing happens. Well considering how fucking awful Osmosis Jones was and the fact that the studio actually made them cut out giant portions of what they wanted to story-wise which is what made it so fucking stupid.

I really don't know how much is it going to be edited or quote unquote operated on? Well, I didn't expect it. I have such an opinion on most of Jones. I don't.

I'm just saying there's a reason why it sucks so hard. I said there's a reason why it sucks so hard. It's being a sucks so hard. Something that sucks so hard this week, a rather last week of time of recording, Bert Reynolds passed away.

I was actually really surprised. I mean he was in his early 80s, but I mean he was still working. Oh yeah, he's done. Archer, he was probably working on their probably gonna reboot, um, Cannibal Run, the way they rebooted Longest Yard.

I loved Cannibal Run so much when I was younger because it was one of those Sunday morning movies on one of the three channels. Well that was, it was on Channel 2. I know that for a fact. I wasn't gonna say that because it would expose the fact that we live in Colorado.

That's fine. It's been exposed. We have exposed ourselves frequently on the show. I'm working on this clothing right now, Jesus.

But no, I mean, we grew up in the Haiti of VHS, Cannibal Run and smoking the bandit. We're huge influences in terms of comedy. So where does it sound like you'll love smoking the bandit? Huh?

Still here to see Sally Fields and smoking the bandit. It's, I guess she's... It's just, well, she's... Or it comes from Long?

No, it's just one of those things. It just seems a little out of character because you and I didn't see her until much later where she had her body's getting rolls. Yeah, more dramatic rolls. I suppose they're coming up with these kind of slash stick comedies.

Yeah. But I mean Don Delevis, Jesus Christ. Talked about it. You know how I always think of Don Delevis and it's terrible?

The Crow and Rants of Nim. No, he was one of the voices in All Dogs Go to Heaven. And he totally did a voice, I was gonna say a VHS voice in introduction to that movie. Did he really?

Yeah. It's been a while, the second time today that All Dogs Go to Heaven has been brought up to me. It's not a great, but it is good. Okay.

I'm not gonna go back and watch it. No, keep blooming your life. A couple weeks ago before our NDK recap episode, you and I got into a bit of a fever argument about- You won this one though. Well, winning is not the right word.

You understand why I have the problem with the names, but I'm not wrong. Because all Asian directors look alike to her. It's like Dick Duck. It's like a really, really small, unsatisfying part.

Obviously I'm only bringing this up in terms of a correction department thing if I made pull from Doug Benson. Obviously, one of us got confused between John Boo and Ang Lee. You can understand, especially giving the time period, did that happen? Why would confuse it?

Also, the weird part is I can do this as well when I went to look up the filmography. So that falls on us folks. But speaking of two people that cannot be confused for each other, we're gonna talk about Wick Loken Dagger Finale or Gloken Dagger Season 1. This is something you haven't watched.

I was a little twitchy about it. I think I brought this up before that it was on the UC. I watched the extended trailer, which was the extended preview where they had basically their first meeting at that outdoors party, and I wasn't interested. My thing was that I thought it was gonna be more grated than it was.

It's on a free form, which is what ABC family used to be. And I was a little worried about that. It's the same channel it did pretty little liars. Is it really?

Yes. I don't know why you're mad at me about that. Because one of them was super G rated, and now I'm supposed to expect something else from Gloken Dagger. I never watched pretty little liars.

I was loved by tweens everywhere. Oh, that's why I didn't watch it though. I think this was not into tweens. It wasn't, but they didn't promote it correctly.

No, I agree with that. And I think it does. And like I said, we both watched that preview. The more is it progressed closer and closer to a very hard PG-13.

Should they have fucking gone full-on Deadpool with it? No, no, no, I'm talking about the way it was promoted. They should have absolutely centered on an older crowd while they were promoting it. But they didn't.

Yes, that I agree. But I was pleasantly surprised as it progressed in the first probably three episodes, which is within our five episode rule. By how much it is, quote unquote mature, in terms of content. I was very impressed by it.

I kept watching it. It's been renamed. No, I know they've already released the second season poster, which we will talk about. Now having not read a lot of Gloken Dagger in the 80s, they were characters of the 80s.

I know. I know. Spider-Man, I'm, but some broad audience might not death. Dagger has light-based powers.

Cloak has dark-based powers. Teleportation. He acts as a dark force, which is a recurring thing in Marvel. Obviously he's a member of the dark side.

Nope, that's DC. That was funny of you knowing. I was a little twitchy about how they're going to make her daggers look. They turned out really well, actually.

And the fact that she almost gets raped and I believe the second episode, that kind of showed me where it was going to go in terms of how push comes to shove cringe. That was part of the issues I had as the push comes to shove gritty, yet they still keep both of their characters incredibly clean and polished appearance-wise. Yeah, I'll give you that. I'll give you that.

Like I said, do I leave there going to get gritty and they're going to get deep? Fuck no, because how are your characters look? Well, they do that regardless. Except their skin is still incredibly clean and their hair is still fucking stuffed.

Those are the content doesn't get dark-dubbed. I don't know what to tell you. You can argue with me about how high-pot fresh they look. It's like how dirty all the characters are walking dead-fit.

Yeah, I'll give you that. The characters and fucking made friends. Yeah, but the people in Cook and Dagger can go home and take a shower, which happens repeatedly. I mean, they do literally clean themselves.

But I should still have wounds. No, they do have wounds. They do have wounds. Yeah, nope.

That is actually a plot point near the end. It is. It is. Watch it and tell me I'm wrong.

And also, I just... I think the styling was badly done. I think this... It was a bad choice.

I think the styling, no. I disagree. Not the actual clothing styling. But the fact that they keep polishing their appearances.

No, they do get progressively... Because they keep polishing their appearances and... Wouldn't it be polishing their appearances? They keep making them look super fucking put together and polished.

Despite the fact they're breaking down. No, there is an actual specific episode near the end that does talk to that. But two people aren't going to do the same thing in that situation. You mean one take a shower and the other one not?

I meant the fact that they both apparently seem to think that they need to keep themselves polished despite the fact they're both doing a very different emotional change. Well, I think when you watch it, you realize that the characters realize they need to put on a veneer of something. Maybe a veneer of normal or not dirty would be better than a veneer of polished model. Polished model?

Polished model? Model? Like both of them, just a little bit too. Too pretty?

Well, I mean that's kind of a daggers thing. I mean she's supposed to be... Yes, but she's not the only one who's, you know, keeping up the appearance a little bit too much. Okay.

My thing is that they brought in a new aspect of their origin, which I accept. It makes sense. But it's never been in the comics, which is that they are a divine pairing and that has happened every two or three generations. Or every generation there's a divine pairing.

What a divine pairing is not a weird concept for comics or from the base. No, especially when they're literally a light and dark character. You're going to have that. Exactly.

But like I said, it wasn't in the comics to be gang with, so to me it seemed like a weird choice. It made sense. No, it just, do you think they should jump into that now? Or do they have other things that need to work on?

It got, it got, it got, it kind of dodged it for the first half of the season and then as it got closer to them, stopping this cataclysmic, well, into Warlands cataclysmic, yet another cataclysmic. They talked about the hurricanes and all that. And the flooding. You know, in Buffy they also talk about the fact that, you know, she knows the multiple for the word, apocalypse.

Apocalai. Like I said, maybe they should get their shit together before season two. I am excited for season two. They've already teased on the poster Mayhem, who is a character that I'm not super familiar with, because I don't, I don't read a lot of stuff with Colton Dagger.

Let me ask you a question when it comes to Mayhem. How excited were you for Grog? Very. How did they handle that?

Half-assed. And yet they keep bringing it back in half-assed ways. Well, I bring in a villain that we really want to see, but you need to handle it and kill your characters. Well, once again, I don't agree with that.

I mean, I think they overreach with Grog, and I agree with you there. I've never reached the fact that any episode with Grog doubles in budget means he needs to be sparingly. And he needs to do three-ball episodes and then have a great job. But I think it was so hard.

It was so exciting. Well, I know he's such, one of the quintessential Flash villains. They can't afford him. No.

And it sucks. And I agree with you that he should be sparingly because of that. They can't afford him, but I'm pushing it so fucking hard. I think if they would have teased him, teased him, teased him for the first season and maybe not done to him.

Well, he fought the first shot with a cage and with Grog both- With a name and- With a name and- I think if they would have even had his voice in Clancy Brown with the government director or what military director- I think so. I could be wrong, but I think so. I think we're right. Even if you would have just had him controlling people, you'd never see him for the first season.

And wait for it to be a hit so you can ask for the budget to do Grog right? I think it would have been great. Yeah, so people might have said blue balls on that one. Considering how well Flash was received.

They would have got it. And was Grog in season one? I think it was season two. Oh wow, so actually my whole thing fucking falls apart.

But still, like I said, they pushed it so hard. Well, yeah, I think they're going to tease one of the biggest- But then they ran it so quickly. Then they ran it so quick and they keep giving us these snaps of him again. Yeah.

And I get it. You can't afford him, but stop fucking teasing my dick. So what is your point in asking me about that and mayhem? Do you really think they're going to be able to bring him in like they should?

Or do they just keep teasing her dick? Well, ma'am's the only- Sorry. By the end of the first season finale teaser, let me rephrase that. Kind of the post credit on the first season because it's Marvel.

Teases mayhem. She is more- In terms of effects, it's going to be a lot easier practically than CGI. Okay. So I don't- And she's- I wouldn't call her like a ground level villain.

Which we love. She's kind of- She's kind of a- We love the ground levels of the era. Yes, but in terms of like effects, in terms of being able to afford her. One ABC, oh, by Disney, they have the money.

Two ABCs, Buck, and Stingy's fucking you know it. And two, she's maybe on like- In terms of effects, she's kind of on a lesser meta-human level. Like she has- I think she emits like spores or something. So she's on a lesser level?

In terms of- In terms of- In terms of- In terms of- In terms of- In terms of visual effects. I think so. In terms of who is- Well, okay. So basically on the season finale, but God, that's been helping, um, Cloke, who really escapes me.

I wrote with something or other. Um, ends up getting shot off of a pier, um, being exposed to this gas that's kind of kind of been a- I'm a guffin for- Maybe his Daggress part of the story? No, no, it's- It's not his- It's not his- It's not his- It's not his- I know. Um, I- I don't think they have her name against it, that's what would matter.

Um, and she's exposed to it and at the time of her apparent death, and she comes back as mayhem, and she has these- You know, I researched the character, but this was like a month ago. What am I gonna talk about it? I mean, it seems kind of like an hand-man-wasped situation. What do you mean?

Who's the villain? The ghost. Why is she such an asshole? Because she got stuck in a really shitty situation- No, that doesn't- Change her biologically.

No. And now she needs to find something else to fix her. No, the woman playing mayhem is an established character from the first episode. Um, this isn't- But like I said, she's in a bad situation that affects her physically, and now she needs to find something else to fix herself.

No, I don't think she's gonna wanna fix herself. I think this is gonna come into, um, playing to trust issues. I think that they're gonna trust her as the character that used to know, but she is mayhem, which I don't think will be revealed to Cloak and Dagger so much later. And I think- I think in terms of having a central bad guy is gonna work a lot better, because the first season was very scattered in terms of antagonist.

Well, I mean, you kinda have to think about Angel. The first season was him as a detective doing the week-to-week monster. After that, they actually built the overall arcs. Right, then you have the Wolf from an Heart.

Yeah, but I mean, that- that dies pretty soon. But yes, you do have Wolf from an Heart. No, they're a running thing for- But no, but I mean, it's the same thing with Buffy. You know what the villain in her first season was?

Fucking the Master, and they kill him pretty fucking quick. Fruit from Trace. Exactly. I love that show.

But like I said, it's one of those where, yeah, you get one season, kinda get your shit together. But I think- Yeah, you probably get the sophomore season, but you need to go full Parks and Rec and get your third season fucking together. Fair enough. Well, I like Flook and Dagger.

I'll be perfectly honest. With our five episode rule, I'm- I'll go and try today, but I have two other things I need to do. No, it's still a good question today, but I- I'm gonna get to- I'm gonna get to other things that I need to do when I'm not fucking on to. Sure.

Should we talk about one of them? Uh, yes. I'm here in fifth season too. Oh, we're jumping to the half.

Well, I have zero fucking motivation to watch it. Well, I'm about a third through it. It's a short season for an episode. It's a short season for an episode.

It's a split- I don't fucking care. Yeah, I'm gonna get a short season, cause everybody fucking hates I am fished. There were, to be modest about it, uh, to understand it, there were a lot of problems with the first season. We're not gonna get into it.

Um, in fact, we're not gonna break it down in what was wrong, cause there was a lot wrong. Now, are we gonna talk about the things that were wrong with it that they have corrected in season two? No, we could also have some of the defenders, but yes. Well, I think with all the problems with Iron Fist, they knew they needed to very quickly course correct with the character.

Cause he's sat. He was- he was shallow. No, there were so many other characters that were so interesting. Oh wait, Miss Dean, I- Exactly.

There's so much more interesting, so much more than I wanted to see what's going on with that. Uh, even the- the mid-jumps. The brother and sister that were running around. I loved the fucking sister.

Uh, you're gonna love season two then. I know you mean that. A little harder, like- Uh, Lord. Sorry, my sister-in-law just sent me a fucking text that basically a fucking letter.

Uh, what did- I think they fixed how to write Danny Rand using defenders and his appearance on Luke Cage season two. Um, I think they took the time to get thin-Jones into some fucking fight courses at the Y. He was in great shape. He had zero fight skills.

Uh, they took the time, they got him in there and that showed, um, Not in the defenders but in Luke Cage- But I mean, even in Luke Cage there was complaints about how the fight scenes went, but with Luke Cage everything else was so much better. You didn't care that much. Well, in the fight scenes of Luke Cage, we were- They were different. Iron Fist should have been more fluid more and it's about a confluent master for Fox News.

I'm sorry, we all watched Daredevil. They know how to do fucking fight scenes. Yeah, they do. We all watched Jessica Jones.

They know how to do fight scenes. They know how to deal with complex characters. Um, Iron Fist that nobody wanted, but for some reason they insisted on- She's two. The Captain America First Avenger of the Netflix.

I watched it just like he gets defenders. Despite a pay-up of the thing that's on defenders. Here's the thing. Outside of this.

I don't like Chris Evans' Captain America. Yes, he deserves that role. Wrong right-hole. Wrong right-hole.

But I'm just saying, you know who I fell in love with because of Captain America? Thin-Jones. Fucky Barnes. Yeah, I knew he was in a fucking thing.

I already did that fucking thing with Captain- I did that fucking thing with Captain- Captain Iron Fist. The Captain Iron Fist Season 1. I fell in love with the female characters that were involved. I didn't fucking fall in love with him.

And one of them was in Iron. Eventually. Polaris is awesome in hilarious. She lives as the defenders, right?

It's been a while. I don't remember. I believe she lives as a defender because she gets the robotic arm in Blue Kid Season 2 provided by Danny Ray. Thank you.

Yeah. So now we have multiple people in the Marvel Universe and the Fox Universe. The X-Men Universe. Well, but I mean that makes sense especially with the surgeon that Strange was before he was actually Strange.

Is that you know you have multiple people working on the problems that superheroes or people involved with super heroes get injury-wise. Well, it was- So two people who fucking arm. That makes sense. Much like you know he needs to go help non-cheetal this fight.

You know the Dr. Strange did that. I think that was a little spark attack. No, it was teased in Strange where he's listening to cases he might take on.

In Metal Suit with Stein Injury. Very beginning of Dr. Strange before he gets his car accident. Doesn't make sense.

No, because that was Civil War. Okay. Timing-wise, I don't think that's right. I think they were referencing the military trying to make the Iron Man suit.

Remember in the second Iron Man they're showing the- No, that's your opinion, that's fine. Fair enough. That I will research. No, no, I can be completely wrong.

But that's just how I know that- I can remember what that's just kind of strange kind. Like I said, I can be absolutely wrong, but that's just how I took it. It's one of the cases that his car is telling him about while he's driving. I assume it was non-cheetal after this- Because he spent years in Shambhala or whatever that was, right?

I don't remember. Dr. Strange, he had to spend years there. He has to be significantly older.

You know what I mean? I'm just not 100% sure. Okay. But like I said, I'm sorry.

But Iron Fist too, I think they- I wouldn't say perfected. They're greatly- I'm so glad that they have the defenders and a fucking three rooms of other writers that fucking held them with that. Well, I didn't say the fight scenes are really fucking good. When I were excellent panels, for gentlemen that were in draft fight scenes.

Why was that? Yes, you were. This was- Oh, you're right. That was me and Liz.

I'm sorry. At the Luke Cage one? Like I said, he'd stopped working for them, which maybe was one of the reasons why their fight scenes suffered. But still, Luke Cage was so good.

Fight scenes were- I know, but the fun part is we're talking about Iron Fist. Yes, I know. We're gonna get to that. I know you're gonna get to that.

I know you're gonna get to that. But it's like, they've greatly improved the fight scenes. They're not shot. They're not shot.

They're not shot. They're not shot on. Well, they're not. They're not shot at a distance in the dark the way they were in the first season.

You have a lot of close-ups with Davros who- Yes. Davros, because the other guys from Doctor Who. That's Davros. Do you not remember what we fell in love with, with Daredevil though?

Everything? The whole we see. Yeah. I- Different showrunners.

I'm so glad they can do close-ups. We don't have to fucking pay attention for any physicality. Well, he has now included some kind of weird ninja mask on the front of his face so that you can never ultimately can never quite tell when it's him or the stunt guy. Which is fine.

We totally get that. Because he's not going to do everything. He's not going to be able to do everything. Also, insurance.

Also, some people need work. Yeah. But they do, I believe on the first episode I want to say, they do a close-up fight scene with him and the guy that plays. I'm going to call him the Steel Serpent, which is Davros.

I'm not going to call him the Iron Serpent. No, that's not a thing. I'm sorry. I just want to see the Iron Giant basically as a serpent.

I watch the fuck out of it. Exactly. So, I'm talking about it. But it sees the Steel Serpent in terms of Iron Fist lore.

They have a great close-up fight scene that was really fun. Well, I want to put something else out there for you. The Iron Fist season two has been out for what about fun? Three days?

I was going to say five. Whatever. I guess about five days now. It's still not getting good recommendations from regular viewers and people that love most of the net.

I think people are just going, it's better. It's acceptable. It's not good. Well, I have another review as I'm still watching.

Read them. Huh? Read them. No, I don't want the season tainted.

No, I'm not after you're done. Oh yeah. But so far, I'm really liking it. And I like that the two, well, three antagonists that I've met so far.

One of which is just a group that I can talk about because you know who the triads are. Or the Japanese triads. Well, the funny thing is when you say triads, I immediately go to era season one when they have that phenomenal female triads character with a platinum wand wig. Here's the problem.

Yeah, like I said, it's been out for- She was- Oh, the fuck was that character's name? Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's been out for days. And admittedly with a lot of the other Marvel Netflix, they don't have to push.

They don't have to advertise. They get good word of mouth. This is not fucking happening. You know the percentage?

Why go that up up your head? I mean, I'm just wondering. No, I have to think about it, but it's just like they didn't have to advertise Luke Cage in the fucking slightest. They didn't have to advertise Jessica Jones season two and people loved it.

And yet now we have iron fist season two and I didn't fucking know it was coming out until Yarls told me. And I don't want to fucking- Well, I have an outfit that keeps me up the deep enough. Yes, but I'm talking about- It's an app. It's an actual bojack horseman.

I fucking know. And big mouth is soon too. Like I said, I've updated fucking Eric so both and I will watch those together. Next month we're going to have a whole lot of fucking talk about because we're going to have- Okay, I thought about the CW shit coming back.

Here's the thing though, Bojack season one. Was it good? Yes, it was excellent, but the seasons following that were much better. Is Iron Fist going to do that?

I don't fucking trust them. I think so. I think that the second season is already better than the first. Oh, and season four is basically so hard.

It almost makes me cry. I'll let you know. Okay. I think the second season of Iron Fist is already better than the first.

I'm only like I said like three or four episodes. They're so good at characters and they did not utilize them. They are utilizing them. I'm telling you.

Misty Knight hasn't popped up yet, but I know she's going to be the new like- I think for the new- They just need more time. But I think the time that they've allotted between seasons has paid off. So I will say that. Also, I think the two interests- Well, one interesting choice and the second is kind of a kind of a- I wouldn't say anything by numbers, but you see it coming by the end of the first season, which is the seal serpent is obviously going to be kind of the equal to Iron Fist in terms of martial arts.

Yeah. And you do get into more of their time together in Kunlun, Kunlun, whatever. Well, I think it's almost a Batman-racial whole thing. Um, I- No, like one villain- Oh, sorry.

One character obviously has more power, but the other one thinks more and has more humanity and more sentimentality to try and put him down. I know we are going and I can't build on it, unfortunately. Okay. I know you're trying to get to it.

I'm trying to think about that. Well, no, it's not. The next step was bad, but I'm trying to get to it more accurately. No, it's the good guy, bad guy thing.

It's the bad guy. It's so much more horrible. The heads and tail. The heads and tail.

They're two sides of the same coin. And just one of them- The heads obviously more important. I like tails. Um, yeah.

I like doublets. Okay. Um, wrong with butts. I didn't realize I'm gonna look at that.

Maybe no bulldog, I'm gonna ask, but that's a whole other reference. Um, I will say a very interesting antagonist choice. You have a daredevil villain in this season. I- and admittedly I try to, you know, I tend to stay away from spoilers.

I don't want trailers. I just remember two things we should talk about, so I'll continue. Um, Mary Walkers in the season of Iron Fist. And if you don't know that name up here, I guarantee you know her gnome big lair, which is Typhoid Mary.

I know, I know her in real life, in history. Okay, Typhoid, I'll explain. Very short encapsulated version of this. Typhoid Mary is an assassin who is known to be like imperceptibles, who other, like, you know, gets closer targets than- My Typhoid Mary was put in, you know, the corns and the entire fucking life, basically poisoned New York.

Um, she's an assassin. Um, it was known to be able to get closer targets without them even realizing it. Um, she is a woman who has multiple personalities, one of them being Typhoid Mary, and then there's Mary Walker, and I think there's a third one that I can't remember from top of my head. Um, but each personality has their own, like, biological readings, I guess you could say.

Well, that's basically something from heroes. Mm. Sure you were. Well, Allylaud.

Allylaud. Yeah, she was in the first season of heroes. She thought she was one thing, but she's really like five things. Well, and then she's for triplets, which gets even worse.

Um, okay, isn't that- No, it's the same fucking problem, where she doesn't realize what her other personality is doing, but it's still fucking her. Yes, but in Typhoid Mary's case, or Mary Walker's case, everyone will look at it, and when I say this, it's in context of Daredevil, the character. Um, Typhoid Mary and Mary Walker have, like, different heartbeats. Like, for whatever reason, like- No, I absolutely get that.

But I still don't know the same fucking- Hold on, Matt, we're not following up with Mary Walker. But Typhoid Mary's color. And fights Typhoid Mary and doesn't realize they're the same person. Well, it's Batman Catwoman.

Yes, I know, it's not that- Yeah, I know. It's kind of Batman- They are very- Yes. I would say that kind of- No, it's the Batman Act. It's the- I love you, but there's so much else going on.

It's weird, sacred, clear and fist. It's weird, senior, and I are just because I am so secret. I don't think it's stupid. I think they're pulling, I mean, I think it's in New York and I think that in terms of the New York superheroes, the ground level ones that we've been introduced with the Netflix stuff.

I recently had to explain to a friend what the original Daredevil series, Out of New York was referencing. Avengers One. Yeah, the answer to it is what they call it. But like I said, I explained that to someone.

Why? No, not into comics like we had. Well, that's fine. It makes sense.

But to see Time for Mary, I think it's an interesting choice. I don't know where it's going. I know. You can obviously figure out if she's going to go typhoid on him eventually.

Can you say that? It makes me think she's going to get her piece. She's going to go typhoid on him eventually. I believe one of her powers might be pyrokinesis, if I recall right.

She's not only underdeveloped and they're overutilizing a character that they should be utilizing later. I disagree with all of that. I don't think she's underdeveloped character. I think in the comics they've- For Ironfest.

I think it's a nice curveball to pull in a villain who's not an Ironfest villain who's not a Kung Fu villain or a martial arts villain. Everything, don't know that. Yes, which I think works through their advantage. I think there's a new interesting wrinkle to Ironfest.

Would I prefer to see her in Daredevil and have kind of that typhoid Mary Walker thing happen? Yes, absolutely. Which probably will, if you know. Well, next season I think it's- You know, I think it doesn't fucking kill her.

I think next season's gonna be return of Pinkman. Which, frankly, considering the actor? Absolutely. But I mean, do I still- Yeah, it's still one of your lines.

But it's one of those things. Is it still one of your lines? It's a little lazy to keep coming back. It's incredibly lazy, but would I still just love to see Ironfest and Electra interact forever, especially considering how they- Daredevil?

Yes. I mean, Daredevil and Electra. Yes. Okay.

Like I said, I would always just love to see Daredevil and- I'm having fun. You think they got a box in there? No, I'd like to see them interact. And here's the thing, the problem is that- You're just uploading her out, right?

She survived the Thundershire. We don't know. We don't know. Well, we don't know Daredevil.

Oh, yeah, we do know Daredevil did. Because it goes into the born-again story. I'm just one of those things where it's like- They just got a frank Miller Shiver up. She was a really good character.

That, frankly, I would love to see Penisher and fucking Electra interact. I think they might have- No, but I mean, I would like to see a half-season with them fighting. Interesting. Well, we'll see.

No, because they have completely different ethics. I would like to see if they did Defenders II or the Defender II season, I'd like to see it not be Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Daredevil, and- Which it should be because we all know Defenders. It's not always those- I'd like to see maybe Penisher, Electra, Colleen Wing, and maybe Misty Knight or- It's just one of those where I think that Iron Fist II was lazy. No, I disagree with him.

I think they put a lot of effort. I think renewing it was super fucking lazy and they worked off- Yes, that's up. As is to make it less fucking lazy. I think that they knew that they needed a course correct.

I think that- They did a lot of them. They knew that they were- They knew that they were- They knew that they were- I think that they had the smurched the brand. That was the first- The first real- I mean, Iron Fist, see someone was- Iron Fist was a fucking disgrace. It was the first misstep.

I'm a little less critical. It was the first- It wasn't a misstep. It wasn't easy and oddly done. It was bad.

But it was the first misstep from the Marvel brand. And yet, Punisher was excellent. Yeah, it was. What I'd rather have Punisher than Iron Fist II?

Well, you- Punisher 3, 4, 5, and 6. How did we do the villain be for Punisher 6? Obviously, come on, Peril. I'm sorry.

Bullseye. I need to have what he calls to do. That's one of the two things I'm- No, no, that's one of the two things- A magic. I want to talk to you about- I said it was to go with that one.

So, it was actually teased that Jason Thaethum would be Bullseye in the Marvel Netflix. And he talked a lot of shit and did not get hired. It's unfortunate. Would I love to see him doing that?

Yes. Absolutely, but he's in a different place in his life and maybe he shouldn't talk that much shit. Well, I can see him talking that would shit before the Meg, but not after. It was before the Meg.

No, I know, it's one of the things- But like I said- It's just one of those things where even I both as employees of companies, we talk a lot of shit. We don't talk that kind of shit. We would say, I don't want to speak about that right now. Maybe we can talk about it later.

He did not. Fair enough. I did want to talk to you about one other thing. Yes.

There has been a very interesting news article floating around for a while about Shane Black. Interesting. And Olivia Munns. Munn.

Are we not going to talk about it at all? I don't know what you're- Would you like to Google up what Shane Black movie is coming out soon? The Predator. Except for Shane Black, it's something fucking awful.

Oh no. He hired a long time friend of his to be one of the character slash actors in the movie. Except for that friend who had been looking convicted of child molestation. And Olivia Munns insisted that they cut that scene out of the movie.

Which they did. Wait, they cut the scene with his friend in it. Yes. Okay.

However, Shane Black did not acknowledge that until after she threw the fucking fit and it was cut. Was it cut because of that? Yes. Oh.

I didn't even hear it at all. He tried to start an online sexual fucking relationship with a 14 year old distant relative. No, I'm not going to fucking name his name. But that's what fucking happened.

And he was convicted of that and Shane Black still hired him as an actor on this fucking movie. Shane Black is playing- Was it not a name? Shane Black has claimed he didn't know that until afterwards, but he has not handled it that way. Okay.

Well, I can't speak to that. I'm going to get to know this as Predator- Predator. I'm sorry. What are your feelings on this?

Well, the death is, you know, I can divorce artists from art. But admittedly I wouldn't- He's a child molester. Yeah, I wouldn't have been in a movie. Or, you know, talking about- Hire him for free movies like Shane Black did?

Do we know the actor? I can tell you the name, but I don't feel good saying that. Okay, well, we can't really be of anything. Well, we could.

I'm not going to do it. It just makes me more- It just makes me more- Um, is it a known actor? No. Oh, okay.

It's a fucking nobody. Yeah. Shane Black thought he was hiring him because he needed the work, because he didn't double-chain Black the truth about his conviction. Well, then, okay, Shane Black can claim ignorance.

Yeah, he did. Four days after this was a problem. Well, yeah, but are you going to ask someone of your child molester like- It's not the point. The point is, in the interest of his, came out and said she didn't feel comfortable with that scene in the movie.

Now, is this on set? Like, this is- she brought this up while filming? She brought this up while they were promoting the movie, and didn't want to do promotion anymore because he was still in the movie. So- okay, hold on.

So, let me- let me just- No, no, no, this did not happen on set. Okay. No, I know you didn't do anything to get on set. No, no, she did not bring this up on set.

That's what I'm asking. So- But however, like I said, when the studio was insisting- I'm not the thing- The studio was insisting that she'd be involved in the motion. What, of course. And with this scene being involved in the movie, she had a huge problem with it, much like you or I did.

And she actually had to fight with them about it. Well, okay. And she's kind of being punch-board actually. Okay, I don't agree with that at all.

Um, and I'm not- I'm not 100% defending- Or taking her own child molester. Right. So basically this guy didn't tell Shane Black why he wasn't working, which admittedly he should not be working. He didn't apologize to her for calling him out, and he waited too long.

Well, in the current state, I can see being very twitchy about how to react. Child molester. No, I'm gonna do that. Um, is he gonna see a predator?

No, I fucking wouldn't. It doesn't look well made. It doesn't look interesting. Also, fuck no.

And do I respect Olivia Monde? No, I don't. I think she's a fucking dumbass who lied a lot during her career. But this was something she absolutely should have taken a stand on.

Also, you still haven't said her last name yet. Monde. It's Monde. Excuse me.

No, there's no V- I know, it's Monde. But still. Like I said, that's just how my brain says it. I'm not saying it's puddder and it's- No, I don't have puddder and it's just my- No, I don't have puddder and it's just my- No, they didn't cut it public.

Oh, they cut it post. Oh, well you didn't say that. I just assumed the scene was cut because it's time allotted or whatever. No.

They didn't cut it till she made it public. Oh, okay. You weren't clear about that. Excuse me.

I'm sorry, I need to make it seem public for a child unless there isn't allowed to movie. No, but if they don't know he's a child unless they're- Okay, okay. I'm saying Shane Black can probably claim ignorance based on just how you're describing it to me. I can claim ignorance.

I'm not defending Shane Black and I'm not defending a child unless I want that on record. Um, she's essentially basically gotten a ridicule by her. got a ridicule by her mail co-workers and by the mail industry by making this complaint. Well that's wrong.

I mean 100%. They're returning over the table. That has two swords. One has made a fire.

One has made of ice and I'm a little worried about my life right now. Oh please. They have uh... I'm not worried.

I was gonna murder you. They have to fight the knuckle guards. If I was gonna murder you it would be true. They're shaped like trench knives.

I'm a little worried folks. Um well then let's... Stakes I made this week. Oh okay.

I'm sorry you have something else to talk about. We've got tons to talk about but I will tease. I will tease. I will tease.

I'm not 100% throw it. I'm not even close to 10% throw it. I will tease that in some next studios Sony's Marvel Spider-Man pop on PlayStation 4. I forgot I'm sorry.

I I haven't done 100% of it. I'm starting to unlock side missions which you know is my weakness. We will talk about later but I... I am a cheap hunter.
