Frigus is a snowshoe race put on by The Endurance Society, a Northeast based event company run by Andy Weinberg. Many OCR enthusiasts from back in the day know the importance of Andy but nowadays he is still a solid race director. Speaking of OCR enthusiasts, I was able to have Scott Sweeney call in to talk about his experience at Frigus. Scott is frequently a volunteer coordinator for races like FIT Challenge and Bonefrog. Whether he is participating or playing a crucial role in the event, he is always a welcome sight. Be sure to thank him for the work he does as an unsung hero.
