267- How to Reduce Overwhelm in a Time of Chronic Stress with Dr. Aditi Nerurkar

from Voices of Your Village · host Seed & Sew

Today on Voices of Your Village I got to hang out with Dr. Aditi Nerurkar and y 'all, this is a conversation I feel like so many of us have been needing. Her book The Five Resets helps us dive into what it looks like to reduce stress and overwhelm so that we can show up as our best self. I love her work because it's so actionable and practical. I think it's especially key to look at how to reduce overwhelm in a time of chronic stress, where when we look at the past few years, we've had a lot of chronic stressors. And diving into some real tips and strategies around what this looks like and why it's important, and that not all stress is bad stress, I think is a game changer for us being able to live in healthy bodies, both physically and emotionally. I'm so excited to be going into the new year with this in mind and to have Dr. Aditi's book, The Five Resets, in my hand. All right, let's dive in.  Connect with Dr. Aditi: Instagram: @draditinerurkar Website: https://www.draditi.com/ Order the book: The Five Resets: Rewire Your Brain and Body for Less Stress and More Resilience Connect with us: Instagram: Tiny Humans, Big Emotions (@seed.and.sew) Podcast page: Voices of Your Village Seed and Sew's Regulation Quiz: Take the Quiz Order Tiny Humans, Big Emotions now!  Music by: Bensound Learn more about your ad choices.
