269 - Starving for Thirst

John 7:37-38 (NKJV)On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”When Jesus cried out to the crowd, He didn’t need to explain the difference between physical thirst and the thirst He was offering to quench. Every time I read these verses, it does me good to evaluate my thirst. I hope it might do you good too. I don’t think there is ever a time I don’t need and welcome this invitation. We thirst every day, He invites us to come to Him every day.
