#27 Marc Pawson

Marc Pawson is Pastor of Palm Church, Bi-vocational Director of Engineering. Preacher. Prison Ministry. Wilderness conference founder. And selects an excellent cigar. A close friend and creative collaborator over the years, Marc and I share in his journey from a turbulent youth to finding faith, fatherhood and purpose. During my era heading up Awaken and Marc at MpFree, we spent time recording and gigging together in some of my fondest memories as a creative. He discusses how music, team-building and church leadership shaped his path and the importance of collaboration, grace and succession planning. Key themes include intentional rest, defending your mates, applying business skills to community work, and the power of giving people opportunities to grow.
