27 of 30: Surprisingly boring! EP 158

It’s the first day of the year and it seems so uneventful! I spent most of the day annoyed. The funny thing is, I did 2 meditations and both times I got a glimpse of total contentment… then thought to myself, man this feels boring, lol! Worrying, planning, and dreaming about what’s next feels so eventful. In ACA they talk about an addiction to chaos and that’s where they mean. Often, it’s not physical chaos, it’s the mental and emotional turmoil that many people experience as “normal”. Funny that.
