27 - The Lost Civilization

THE LOST CIVILIZATION EPISODE SYNOPSIS: John, Don, Will and the Robot are out searching for a fresh water supply. While Don and John are repairing the Chariot in a cave, Will and the Robot explore. They fall down a crevice and find a vast inland sea and jungle. There, in a clearing, is a young girl of Will's age, fast asleep. The Robot directs Will to wake her with a kiss which he does. She tells them she is a princess, and takes them to her kingdom. On arriving, they find John and Don who, while searching for them have been taken prisoners. The Major Domo of the kingdom reveals that a vast army has been put into a state of suspended animation for generation after generation, waiting for the day when a traveler from another planet should arrive. He is to marry the princess. Then, the warriors will be awakened and will conquer the whole universe, starting with the planet from which the traveler came. Will tells the Princess that he doesn't want to get married and, with her connivance, and the help of a planet quake, they all make their escape and the Princess goes back to sleep again.
