The key is attitude: a Jew may be sent beyond familiar boundaries on a holy mission, yet must never lose the deep love for Eretz Yisrael or become settled in golus. Like Menashe, we are called to remember our true home, reject the mentality of exile, and use every place we find ourselves to advance Moshe’s vision and bring the Geulah closer.
