#271 - Monte Tolar
from The Paul Leslie Hour
271 - Monte Tolar Monte Tolar was one of the most fun loving people you could ever meet. In addition to being a longtime member of the Atlanta Parrot Head Club, he was the founder of the Houston Parrot Head Club. A friend to many, his outlook was downright infectious. He was the Creative Consultant for this "The Magic of the Music: The Birth of a Parrot Head Nation" series of interviews that broadcast in 2009. The radio series coincided with the 20th anniversary of the Atlanta Parrot Head Club, the first Parrot Head Club in existence. Monte Tolar sadly passed away in 2010 and is greatly missed by all those who knew him. I am very grateful to have the opportunity to present this interview we did all those years back.
