Welcome back to another episode of Better Than I Found It. After the first few tournaments of the year, Coach McGraw uses the break in the schedule to recap how the season is going before diving into the thesis of this episode: Gratitude. Drawing inspiration from both his storied career and his autobiography, likewise named Better Than I Found It, Coach McGraw demonstrates the effectiveness and importance of maintaining gratitude in one’s life. From showing gratitude to Mike Holder, the man that both originally hired Coach McGraw in 1997 and let him go from Oklahoma State in 2013, to the gratitude that current PGA and Korn Ferry tour players Cooper Dossey, Ricky Fowler, and Johnny Keefer have shown for their collegiate careers and experiences, Coach McGraw encourages the listener to be grateful for the gifts and support they have been given in life. The episode can be best surmised with a quote by Daniel Makepeace: “you only get so many times to put the uniform on; don’t ever take it for granted.” I hope you enjoy the listen. Sluggy Kuumba Mohammed Dan Presents What makes the world better. Sluggy Kuumba Mohammed Dan Just trying to leave this world better than the way I’ve found it. Limitless Living - Co-Creator Network Judith Albright Over the course of my life I have experienced various dry spells and have found it necessary to re-invent myself several times. When I was younger I naively thought that life progressed in a straightforward linearly fashion. I once believed that, just like wine, relationships only got better with age; each job would be better and pay more money than the last; I had all the time in the world, and my life was orderly and under control. But life had different ideas. Isn't that what John Lennon said? Life is what happens to you while you are busy making other plans. At some point my life starting taking all sorts of interesting twists and turns, certainly not in a straight line or all of them forward, and my concept of being in control went right out the window. More than once I have had to ask myself, Now what?It was not until recent years that I finally found my true calling and became trained for the work I do today. For the past eight years I have had a private stress management pr Aussie Backyard Conservation Sarah Jane Connop Welcome! My name is Sarah Jane and it was my desire to start a conversation about conservation that brought about the inception of this podcast. Rather than presenting a lesson, I have dragged my programming boyfriend, Joel, along to bounce ideas off - together we discuss MY chosen topic which I have studied, but Joel is totally off script, so I never quite know what he's going to say next. We'll cover topics relating to conservation issues and how they affect our daily life. We'll address concerns about, and explore how far reaching conservation issues are and of course discuss how we can make small changes to live in a more sustainable way. Aussie Backyard Conservation is a place where we imagine better environmental outcomes. Every person can be part of our planet's preservation, and solutions can be found at home. We'd love for you to be part of this conversation too - so please join us as we endeavour to become backyard conservation heroes! Release Your Resistance Bex Beltran So many of us are going through life on default, reacting to what happens to us and assuming that's how it is and how it will always be. And so many of us are aware that something different, or better exists.. But we might not be aware that the different or better existence is available to us- RIGHT NOW! Or, even if we are aware.. We might not take action towards it, or believe it's available to us because of our resistance. Over the episodes in this podcast I'll teach you how you can release your resistance. By doing this for myself, I have become valued and respected by myself and in my relationships. I'll tell you how I found my purpose, how I'm happy, and why I feel more self-sufficient now than ever before. Right now, there may be a barrier between you and a relationship with yourself and life that you love and appreciate, but that barrier is self-created resistance and totally optional. This podcast will show you how I broke through that barrier, and how you can too! I'll show
