273 - Hush (2016) Review
from The Final Podcast
A deaf and mute author, living in isolation, is visited at night by a masked predator threatening her life. Hush takes home invasion horror to new heights by pitting a masked killer up against a writer who is living in the woods alone and doesn't have the ability to hear or speak. Mike Flanagan, who has made a name for himself with several successful horror movies and tv shows, creates a tense atmosphere in this movie that continues to build over the duration of the film. What appears to be a hopeless situation is countered by the protagonist's inability to give up and be a worthy adversary.
