#274 Thomas Nobbs - Running 2:09 Solo to Win McKirdy Marathon & Become 4th Fastest Canadian All Time

Visit lisrunning.com to be coached by us! On this episode, we had special guest Thomas Nobbs on the podcast! Thomas just came off a huge PR at McKirdy Marathon last weekend, where he ran 2:09 to become the 4th fastest Canadian all-time! Even more impressive- he ran the last 35k completely solo. Thomas actually ran at University of Washington for a bit before finishing up at University of British Columbia. He now resides in Ottawa - meaning he had to train for this race almost entirely on the treadmill! We talked about his training and nutrition on this pod and also walked through his pre-race routines. Of course, we got the full recap of race weekend and also what might be next for Thomas. We hope to see him with a shoe contract and in a major marathon this fall!
