#277: Acts 23-28 | Paul sails to Rome

from The Bible in Fewer Words · host Carole and Steve Wells

Paul continues his trial in Jerusalem, claiming to be a good Pharisee who has never done anything wrong. But the Jews weren't buying it. So they went on a hunger strike, refusing to eat anything until they were allowed to kill Paul. To protect Paul from the Jews, Paul is taken to Caesarea to be tried there. When they couldn't decide what to do with him, they put him on a boat bound for Rome. On the way, there's a shipwreck on the island of Malta, where Paul is bitten by a poisonous snake. Paul survived and continued his sail to Rome. And that's how the book of Acts ends.
