About Arts as Healing: The theory that art can play a significant role in the recovery process is at the heart of the Arts As Healing program. They provide a creative outlet for cancer patients, their loved ones, and those who care for them. The closed-session studio classes offer an inviting environment for artistic expression where patients are free to explore a new method of communicating their innermost thoughts. Through Arts As Healing, patients find a joyous release for untapped artistic expression and relief from focusing on their illness. Studio classes are held every Tuesday and Wednesday from 10:00AM to 12:30PM at their Arts As Healing Studio at 11804 Borman Drive, St. Louis, MO 63146.
