What this episode covers
The largest unsolved homicide case in Japanese history— The Setegaya Massacre. A kind and friendly family of four was mysteriously murdered on the night before New Year's Eve. The case drew the eyes of millions as over 250,000 officers worked on the case over the decades. The culprit left an obscene amount of evidence behind, but police could not connect anyone to the case. With no motive, the crime couldn’t be narrowed down, but today, the grandparents are left to wonder why someone would brutally kill their grandchildren for seemingly no reason at all.
