In these four things God IS; Him as LOVE is the most perfect likeness to be fully manifested by us, His Image - Bearers. -You are and have an eternal spirit…yet it is a spirit of and for one man. -You can burn , and your tongue can light a fire, but it is without the consuming power that enables God to purify every other child of His. -You are – according to Jesus – a light to the world around you, but you and I do not carry the responsibility to be the light of the whole cosmos. -You can – and must – love God and love your brother with the exact same love given to you that is the love Father God loved and loves Jesus with. This love is, as Paul declares, “ the greatest of these…” gifts!
