28 – Allyn Evans: Monroe Institute, Sound Technology, Spoon Bending & Remote Viewing

Today I’m joined by Allyn Evans, the Executive Director of the Monroe Institute. In today’s episode, Allyn discusses how Edgar Cayce opened her eyes to the reality that we are more than our physical bodies, and how her spiritual exploration eventually led her to the Monroe Institute. We then discuss the history of the Institute and the development of binaural beats, sound technology and frequency following response. We next discuss the preparatory process for Monroe’s “Gateway Experience” and how its used to support higher states of conscious awareness. From there, we talk about ongoing projects at the Monroe Institute including Allyn’s spoon bending course and the Expand app. We then talked about how the author of The Men Who Stare at Goats tried and failed to debunk the Institute’s remote viewing course. Next, we talk about the military and intelligence community’s work with the Gateway Process.
