28. Naso 5779: Got Passion 101, 102 & 103 -Understanding The Human Gift Of Passion

Now, I don’t necessarily mean the overwhelmingly intense irrational let-it-all-go type of passion (actually, I do…, but that’s just me), nevertheless, passion, at any level, is a must to live life with all its challenges and days-ins and days-outs. Even the left-brained methodical profiles need some sort of passion to get them out of bed in the morning and back into bed at night. Thus, the modern-day issue of this lecture is, where does one find passion? This lecture is based primarily on a maamor the Rebbe delivered on this Shabbat, in 1965, exploring of the esoteric depths the census and jobs of the three families that made up the Tribe of Levi: Kehot, Gershon and Merori.
