Old hidden secrets come to haunt teens in Woodsboro as a Ghostface killer resurfaces and anyone related to individuals from previous murders become targets.Scream thematically maintains the clever parody of previous slasher movies and tropes, but weaves in new horror insights into a fresh film that still maintains the integrity of the franchise. The Scream movie series continues to have the same types of red herrings in the mystery while remaining innovative. While not as good as the first couple of movies in the series, this movie doesn't disappoint and has another great cast with newcomers like Jenna Ortega, Jack Quaid, and Mikey Madison, and brings back series favorites like Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox, and David Arquette. More great kills, funny deliveries, and unforeseen twists.
