Welcome to Jenni ni Pika Pika Japanese. Autumn in Japan is in full swing, and autumn is the season of Kuri (chestnuts). Today I would like to introduce the Kuri Matsuri Festival at Okunitama Shrine in Fuchu City, Tokyo. This festival is characterized by the display of approximately 260 andon (lanterns) depicting votive pictures, the performance of Kagura (Shinto music and dance), which includes the recital of congratulatory rites, music and dance, and the cruise of the mikoshi (portable shrine) and floats. El otoño en Japón se está profundizando, y el otoño es la estación del kuri (castañas). Hoy me gustaría presentarles el Festival Kuri del Santuario Okunitama en la ciudad de Fuchu, Tokio. El festival se caracteriza por la exhibición de unos 260 andon (faroles) con pinturas votivas, la interpretación de música y danzas sintoístas, y el paseo del mikoshi (santuario portátil) y las carrozas.
