283 - Wrong Turn 2: Dead End (2007) Review

from The Final Podcast

Contestants of a reality show titled "The Apocalypse" start filming and find their shooting location is occupied by a family of inbred cannibals who want nothing more than to kill and eat them.Wrong Turn 2: Dead End is the unlikely finale of Sequel September 2025, but it's the follow-up to one of our favorite horror movies growing up and is a fun movie with a ton of crazy kills. The reality show element is ridiculous, but provides an interesting setting as it leaves all the contestants vulnerable to an unforeseen horror in the woods of West Virginia. While not as good as the first, this movie is a lot of fun, and doesn't shy away from the blood and gore, and is overall gross throughout. It's also always entertaining to see Henry Rollins play a badass who takes the fight back to the deformed inbred cannibals.
