284: What Your Doctors Don’t Understand About Sunlight

In this week’s episode we’re talking about what doctors like your dermatologist, endocrinologist, cardiologist, gastroenterologist, psychiatrist and primary care physician don’t understand about the benefits of sunlight. Sunlight was used medicinally for thousands of years dating back 3500 years ago when the Egyptians used it to treat skin disorders. Sadly, there was a shift in the early 1900’s with influences like The Flexner Report that led us away from all natural therapies and healers and toward a more allopathic model (focused on drugs and surgery). Doctors don’t learn about nutrition, much less about sunlight and, yet, both are foundational to the health of our body. If God designed our body to utilize sunlight, then we must need it.
