#285 Canadian vs US Healthcare System - Full Show

from And Another Thing with Dave · host Dave Smith

In this episode I am joined by JMac from the Stereo app. We discuss and debunk the myth that healthcare in Canada is somehow inferior to that in the US. Hear it from a real live Canadian, Eh. "There are no wait periods for important medical procedures." JMac completely debunks they myth that Canadians have to wait to get vital treatments. The only procedures people need to wait for are non-essential or elective treatments. For urgent medical care in Canada, you can see your doctor, i they are busy you can see any doctor, if they are all busy, you can go to the emergency room. He told me of his girlfriend's friend who needed to see the doctor. She called on Friday and had an appointment scheduled for Tuesday. We wait way longer than that here in the US. We here in the US are ignorant about the treatment people in other countries receive. It is not our fault; we are brainwashed into believing the US is "the best" by our government and the corporate controlled media. Once you realize the government is usually lying to you and that corporate media is merely there to parrot those lies, then you can start to think for yourself and ask questions. The only thing the US is best at is military spending. We are the ONLY industrialized nation without Universal Healthcare. We are such suckers; they didn't even offer us healthcare during a pandemic. When you lift the veil of government deceit and media reinforcement, you begin to see an agenda of control and manipulation. Once you free yourself from this control and manipulation you will start to see the lies for what they are, propaganda. After all 5 corporations own all media outlets here in the US, and the passing of Citizens United allows corporations to donate unlimited funds to politicians. This is no more than legalized bribery. Our republic has become the laughingstock of the free world, yet most at home are still blissfully ignorant. I for one took the red pill and want to know what is actually happening in the world around me. I urge you all to join me in a journey of discovery. Thank you for tuning in!
