288 The Man From Taured

This week we cover a curious little tale dating back to 1954....or 1959....or 1961 ....or depending on your source 1981...whatever, date it 'happened', we are talking about the Man from Taured. This story takes place in the Tokyo Airport where a man presented a passport to the customs agent that was from a country that DID NOT EXIST. HE had several stamps from various countries , including Japan with this passport as well as currencies from this 'non exinsistant' country. The man was taken to a hotel  where his door was being watched by 2 armed guards all night. But when officials went to talk to him in the morning he, as well as all of his possessions were GONE. Some say this was a time traveler. Other say this was an instance of an alternate universe overlapping into our own.
