It is necessary for every person or organization to have this to succeed in a long-term, continual fashion... vision. While we can have a ‘mission’ that helps us direct our efforts on a moment-by-moment basis, the ‘vision’ is what gives us the driving-force, can-do attitude to accomplish the mission and more importantly, to grow further beyond to new heights in a particular, chosen direction. Sometimes, the vision is hard for all to see (hence the need for visionary leaders to help us connect the dots to reach the destination) but it nonetheless puts in motion the plan of possibility to get there. This week, be sure to celebrate Martin Luther King’s vision as well as your own and that of your organization!
