Hello, welcome to No Applause, just the Clamp. I'm Doug. I'm joined by my slower companions Lizzie and Deb. Hey.
And... So, I texted you earlier this week because Michael B. Jordan was actually named People's Sexiest Man Alive this year. And I texted you, oh good, till longer is the Sexiest Man Alive.
And you responded. You mean the Human Torch from the best Fantastic Four movie ever? My follow-up was, do you think he got an STD and started passing it around? His junk would be called the Human Torch?
I followed up with, if you accuse him of it, you could be called a Blainsrower. That was a good way to start the morning. Yeah. Yeah.
I think he only got it because Jadrof was and died. So he can't be named alive. I think I got an costume. It's a little bit nice.
Sexiest Man Alive. Right. Didn't the fucking title. I mean, yes, his memory is alive.
His work is alive. His physical body is not. It's probably not terribly sexy right now either. By this point, I don't know what they do.
I don't know if he was cremated or not. I mean, it's been a few months. They're way. I suppose.
Fuck, fuck cancer. So. These things happen. Unfortunately.
But we had another follow-up that we wanted to go back into, which is a... Doug has weird dreams? Well, everyone has weird dreams. Well, everyone has weird dreams.
Well, Doug has weird dreams about Facebook. Well, one, I do post a lot of stuff that I had to book from my dreams. Well, the thing was, I don't think you and I talked or seen each other about three weeks. I don't listen to this alert on Facebook saying, that you've been mentioned.
That I've been tagged by Doug. I'm like, what the fuck am I tagged by Doug? And I look at it's a dream about sacrificing something. That was a little while back.
It was a while ago. I was like, I'm trying to see where the... And it wasn't just me and my friends. Stay out of my dreams, sacrificing your dear, your...
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Hold on, let me get to my profile. But it was, yeah, you my friend Drew, who drew post-great stuff on Facebook. By the way, very similar to Sincez humor.
It was quote, I'm not gonna say his last name. But if Drew and Ryan want to summon a demon on Thanksgiving by smoking a deer carcass, by the way, for context, I don't mean smoking like you would like ribs. I mean, smoking like you would a cigarette. Oh, no.
That's why you guys were meant to want. You guys were trying to smoke like a skinned deer carcass. I just literally imagined you smoking venison in the smoke house. Can we just think of kids in high school trying to smoke dried bananas?
No, yeah. Oh, but Joe can't lead where they make him smoke his own pubes, thinking it's weed. Oh, that's disgusting. I hate how teenagers what happened.
Oh, I didn't say it was okay. No. But like if you're going to do all these horrible things, that's great. Let's keep it out of my dreams next time.
So I wanted to like, so we were just... Oh, no, wait, that's what Drew posted on my Facebook after this. I saw. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Like, monkey's dancing around Beow summoning him or something. But like I said, with your dreams, that's why I was stepping out. Pandemic has been going on long enough that everybody in my dreams now wears masks. Okay.
And like I said, you guys are familiar with a little free library, right? The ones are like on my budget stuff. Yeah, yeah, yeah. More room.
In my dream, there were little free mosques everywhere. Mosque? Yes. Like the place of worship.
Yeah. Okay, so we're working through. We're saying masks and a fancy way. I'm wearing a mosque.
No, I was not. Totally. I was not saying vase. I can't give you coffee.
You're not wearing a mosque. Just so you know somebody said that to me, I would probably punch them in the dick. They have to go to the pexiglass in front of me, but I guess we just knock it over on me. Yeah, actually that seems like a good plan to snog over the pexiglassic one good.
Well, I mean, Patrick, why did it? Yeah, on his first game as the coach of the avalanche. Did he push the pexiglass? Yeah, the pexiglass separates the two teams.
Yeah, he was so pissed and smashing on the fucking plexiglass yelling at the other coach. And then their coaches said they're like, yeah, fuck you. No, it's the whole fucking thing. It's like came down.
I feel like the plexiglass is kind of like, it's kind of like, hygorets plates, or they're fine until they're not. And then they're just completely fucking done. Yeah, pretty much. The whole for a minute.
And then that's it. And then you spend the next week finding pieces of it. Yeah, they've actually the entire NHL reinforced the barriers and all their CMs or I guess rings, because of that incident. I'm at least oh, walk up built.
Did you have any weird dreams? Weird dreams. So lately or in general, I have, I'm not sure I'm going to discuss them on this pub check. No, I just, they're a blend.
Some of them were. But they're also a blend of like work, travel, family, marriage, like it's weird. Because a timeline's wrong or a chronology's wrong. No, it's just, you know, I've had a few days lately where there's just it's overwhelming.
The amount of shit that comes down. There's a lot going on. Well, yeah, nobody like with work and marriage and family and everything else. No, I can't even know what I was going to laugh.
So I'll have like all this shit jumbling around my head and I can tell what's going on. My brain's going, we've got to get this the fuck out of here. Yeah, I didn't know what I was going to do. Well, what am I packing lately?
Yeah, so I mean, yeah, I've had weird dreams when they're weird because it's literally a brain dump shoved together with no connective. You know, but there's such a big difference between, you know, your brain dump and just your subconscious basically pretending it's on ambient. You're like, what the fuck just happened? Drinking apple juice out of a black pillowcase.
That was one yesterday. Oh, I think Doug needs to get black bagged. We're conditioned. Wait, that's black bagged.
Really? Yeah, which is the nice government PC turn for kidnapping. I think she meant to be back by black guy. I did not.
You're going to have to keep that one yourself. Nope, that's one other dream. Other dream. Huh?
Weird enough. Michael B. Jordan. Wow.
Well, at least it was a sexy family. Was he in the human torch costume? Because that'd be painful. That'd be painful.
It was a fantastic form where to find them. So did you get like a little fantastic form where to find them and your foreheads. Fantastic form where to find them is Doug's sex dream about getting four in the ass from one of their members. The weird part is it's yeah, I know.
That's a lot of people. I didn't say it was a good thing. No, but that's not. I mean, what was the quote from our gas mill?
If you think that doesn't spread the open like a Thanksgiving turkey, you got to think of it. And then it's when they, and then she says something about like grease me up boys. It's time to fuck her or something like that. Yep.
Oh, God, that movie was so funny. I know that lines not, I mean, that's awful. But she's like an eight year old woman. Dop it to a more.
Because it's the only way that she can still get work. Yeah, give me the. Which was the name of their band. Yes, it was.
Right now I'm thinking and I'm singing. I did some of the songs for a guy's book. Yeah. Well, they did.
So I know you're a Mario and my own man. I'm the man of my own. Yeah, we all know that song. It is an ear work.
I still find the views of those guys actually one. And I mean for self park. Yeah, and then music. It's not there.
Yeah, it was Uncle Fucker, wasn't it? Yeah. Yeah. Um, no, yes.
They they have a Tony. They have for an Emmy. What's what? They don't have an Oscar, but they have a nominated.
Like a, they haven't got it yet. Okay. What are they? Do they have a granny?
They might. They might. I was like, that seems logical. Well, between the one of fucking Norman and South Park.
Well, book and Mormon, so they got their Tony. Yeah. And then there were, was it Blaine Canada was nominated for best song in the Oscars, Robin Williams performed it. And it lost to the Phil Collins Tarzan song, which is why on the next episode of Self Park after that Phil Collins is there and he gets an Oscar shut up his ass.
Phil Collins is a Tarzan song. He did the soundtrack for Tarzan. He did the soundtrack for Tarzan. I don't really remember Tarzan.
That's one kick. That's one kick. Okay. I can't remember Tarzan though.
Very clearly. Did you know that Sing her to toe was Cindy's singing voice? I had no idea. Also, John Lee and Son.
That's his dad. Really? Yeah. See, the singer of toto is John Lee's son.
What's the lie? I'm still surprised people are shocked that they, uh, was gonna say that they sound right. They're so good. But like I said, the soundtrack for doing is so good.
That was toto. Oh, I'm not gonna lie. I feel like maybe if Queen had done the soundtrack for to toe, it would have been a lot more sci-fi. Well, the lead singer would have been a lot more.
You really could just say. I never would say. You were the lead singer. I kind of like the idea that Queen would do the soundtrack for toto.
Oh my god. That would be awesome. I know, right? But Queen did the Highlander soundtrack.
Yes, I did Highlander and the lead. I loved the Highlander soundtrack. Well, it was the only two they did. It was technically never released as the Highlander soundtrack.
In the US. In the US. There is a Highlander soundtrack with those tracks on it. It was just not the US that it was just what it was.
It came out as a kind of magic. Yeah. Everybody on the other side of the real big queen. I was a kid.
I was like, hey, they don't know those songs are permanently in my brain. Princess of the universe is something I will know before. Don't lose your head. Everyone knows they're making Highlander.
After the last couple of movies, I'm okay with it. I mean, I guess they're characters are pre-booted or remake. I think. Well, the reboot was Highlander.
They're basically ignoring the second movie, which they did. Everyone's ignoring the second movie. When they're aliens, the only thing good about it was Michael Ironside. Yeah.
Should've brought them. Were we just talking about this? Yes. No, I was talking about Weird Remakes.
And we were talking about the Sonic movie. It was not as terrible as I thought it was going to be. I heard Jim Carrey was like, I'm not going to see it. I don't know.
I saw it twice, but I also saw it for free both times. But because. Yeah, that's why I saw it van Wilder five times. But there was a follow-up to that.
So far this year. Sokahajog is the highest-grossing superhero movie of the year. But the follow-up to that was because Sonic did so well, they're doing it with Pink Panther. I saw.
Didn't they really do a Pink Panther movie? Not. Like an actual, like, the Pink Panther, not like the one with Steve Martin. Yeah, but the whole series.
Not like the so. Yeah, of course so. No, they're not. Like the one?
Oh, like the one? I don't need a Pink Panther. That's what they're doing. Like a literal.
You just get a cartoon. Yeah, but they've never done movies. I think they did. I don't think they're gross.
Not that I know of. There was definitely- He was just on insulation commercials? No, he was a cartoon. They did a cartoon series.
Yeah, and then he got a relation to commercials. Yeah. Because they're both Pink, but I guess once there's an insulation, we'll kill you. Well, you're both Hitchy.
Yeah. I speak from experience, not from building a house. Oh, no. I thought I'd have a pain when it was Hitchy.
No, no. So my sister's room, one of my sister's rooms, had this door that went into an attic. And when they were still building it, I was like tearing into a house, having a great time exploring shit. I just threw the door open and walked in, and fell through the fucking insulation, because there was no light in it.
I just went in. I was like crazy. I was Hitchy. My parents were so pissed.
They were like, we're not going home yet. You have to stick with that for a while. That was my punishment for running through the house and crashing through the ceiling. I had just been finished being actually made.
So I get why they were pissed. But still, I was miserable. So now I did something similar, not the crashing through the ceiling, but when I was growing up, I was friends with one of the girls down the street. Her dad was a brilliant engineer.
It was actually building everything in his garage, even one of those plane kits. We're playing hide and seek, and I was hiding behind something in his garage, not realizing it was a role of insulation. I totally got to rash down my arm. Yep, it's miserable shit.
You didn't do anything like this? I was waiting for you to say something like that. No, that's why my mom's crawlspace insulation, which is not euphemism. I didn't think of it until you said it.
Right? Well, probably never be finished, because that shit's annoying. Thanks for that. In bombs of crawlspace.
Oh, look at that. Yeah, no, I don't like that part. I mean, you didn't crawl out of her. You don't know that.
I'm pretty sure. I have a friend whose theory is that I was never born. I just wandered out of the woods as is. And if I was born as a baby, I would have this voice, which both are nightmare fodder.
Yeah, that's the thing that look who's talking moving. Yeah, not good. In other weird text messages that we were talking about earlier, I recently woke up to a text from Switch, who finally watched season two of The Boys, and the text was simply, they stabbed a whale with a boat. Goddamn right there.
Where did it happen? What now if you wanted a next complete sentence? Okay. Did you not watch The Boys?
Season two. The Boys, yeah. Oh, yeah, when they ran the fucking speed boat. They stabbed the whale with a boat.
I mean, I thought they more like chopped them in half. No, it was a stabbing. I mean, that was a fatal stabbing, but yeah. They had to top like whatever happened to that poor dolphin.
They got checked out of the van's windshield. Oh, yeah. Marine animals don't last long. But animals can't expect him to catch him.
He hates marine biology. Well, there I said it. It's typically, I would agree with that source of people, but because these are animals being controlled by the fucking... The other controls, I mean, he talks when we talk.
No, no, I get it. He's talking about it. Yeah. But that means he has a very manipulative personality if you can talk a whale until like helping him trap his photos.
He's not a member of his day of rapist. Yeah. So he probably... Well, that was less shocking than what actually happened in the comics.
But like I'm saying, it can be a manipulative. Like, it can be manipulative. It's not exactly a shock at all. They're working on season three that already.
Oh, season three got renewed like before. Like season three, yeah. Much like season three, oh, sorry, unlike season three from Pearl Academy, which took a little longer to actually make the official announcement. Probably because it's a little more expensive.
Or, well, what do you mean for that? Netflix makes more original content than Amazon by a long shot. So their budget is probably more strained. And since Disney Plus is taking a chunk of that.
Speaking of Disney Plus, the announcement is that Wonder Woman will be free for all HBO Macs, customers on Christmas Day for only a month. Yep. And they learn from it. It's gonna be in theaters too.
It's gonna be in theaters too. Like I said, it will be in theaters too. Like I said, it will be in theaters too. And it will be available on VOD.
But I think they learn from the lawn that you don't put it on a premium platform and then charge 30 extra $1, especially maybe that was not as well received. No, the movie, I didn't like the movie at all. That was awful. There was no Dragon.
That wasn't the problem. That was my problem. I don't care for any of the Disney movies that have gone live action. Off the cartoon.
No, I agree. I'm not gonna go there. Jungle book. It's time for how it's good.
Yeah, I know. I'm sure but like Louis Prima as a Louis. I don't need the same fucking story. Again and again.
My Thomas Spider-Man Borges. I mean Disney created characters or was very original for a long time. And not just a storytelling but an artwork. Yeah.
Art styles. I mean fucking Fantasia revamped animation. Okay, I think that I just I have zero respect for a company that's just a. They're not reviving this.
So let's make it live action now. Well, and they're not reinventing the wheel with it. You know what I mean? Like there's no like it's like into the spider for like oh my god.
This is visually fucking insane. Well, the story was good too. Yeah, interesting. And I'm sorry.
It's not live action when over 80% of the movie is fucking CGI. It's just not. Now if they're in the line, they're real lions. You know, Jungle Book.
You had one real guy in the whole fucking movie pretty much. Like it's not live action to me. That's a cartoon like Cool World where they happen to throw two real people in. I love Cool World.
I thought it was, you know, back in the late 80s early 90s early 90s. It was a great idea. Roger Rabbit. Same thing.
Live action. Go ahead, Doug. No, it's just like Cool World got gutted. So just because Rick Bakshi, the guy who did it, wanted to make it like a horde R.
Oh, and then they were like, well, can't give people Roger Rabbit if it's a hard R. Right. Not everybody could see Deadpool in the future. They didn't know that a hard R could make that much money.
Well, you know, I have a movie. But like, Mattress's character. And the female character, Cartoon character was played the way she was. Hollywood?
Hollywood? Yeah. Hollywood if she could. People would have known it's you know.
Yeah, I know, but not a lot of people had that vision. However, what I do have to say for Disney is that their new Pixar soul is supposed to go up pretty soon. And that's original content. That is.
Well, that's what Pixar has been doing for Disney is there. The actual one. I'm sorry, Ralph, actually. I know how to go.
The original content. You know, but if that's the case, I have other series of content like Pixar. And this shit has come out so far on Disney Plus, there's some great original content. Great.
It's in the Star Wars universe. But in the Warrins original, and it's doing great and is great. I'm pretty sure I showed you both the. If you watched the doll yet, that you caught up to it.
You know, I'm going to wait for season two. So you should have been out for weeks. No, I mean, to be the whole thing. Yeah.
Like I said, I don't care if you guys talk. I'm with you. You know, I like that. I like that with that, like in the voice email, we can be like, they reinvented like the water cooler show.
You're talking about it. We can be and it keeps it in like the pop culture membrane for longer than just. Maybe if I was working, I'd feel different. But because I'm not, it's not something I need to do.
There's no lack of content. Like you can watch the boys and then play a show. Something else. Well, I've been recently working my way through Dr.
Who again, which led to a very weird comment from you the other night. Depends on how far back you're starting with that. Nice, Dr. I'm sorry, but no, sorry, but this is rockles.
Yeah. All right. I'm not saying it. I'm not saying it now.
I'm not that far in. But I don't call to ask me a question. I'm not a pop doll, of course. He's like, are you doing anything important?
I'm like, no, I'm watching Dr Who. He's like, no, it's not important. The end of the conversation though was, quote, you can get back to watching Dr Who, making out or almost having sex. Pretty much.
Why was that the follow up though? And I was not. It was hard to get off the right. It was a little tricky.
OK. But like I said, I was not doing too. Just one on record. Do you have three other things?
I got you back. I'm already a little tricky. I'm not a 19. And you probably just did it up for me.
Yeah. Thanks. I thought you would do that. Once you've filled out, I had to get help opening some spices yesterday.
But that's because I've just been cooking bacon. So my hands were greasy. The water better. Now it was in the middle of still cooking bacon.
I was washing bacon grease. Like I said, I was still cooking bacon. Why is there a bacon that's still washed? I was doing four things at once.
That's like my sexual theme as a woman. Did you have any invisible jet invisible vapour in the mama of my blood? That's one of a woman. OK.
No. Didn't the invisible have any invisible jet? She can make a jet invisible. She can make a jet invisible.
She doesn't have any invisible jet. Sorry. So did you guys want to talk about the Mandalorian? Or did you have some other content?
You met full baby group last episode. I don't want to spoil it for you. Oh, I don't mind. OK.
Chances are I won't remember. I'm on my way. The last episode was interesting. The one count last Friday.
The siege. Yes. Because it kind of started getting into, I'll say slightly controversial territory. Because remember when Phantom Menace came out and all of a sudden midichlorians were with us?
Yes. I know where it was. I had to be second. I hated that.
I thought we didn't talk about that. Right? But in the course of this episode, there's a scientific recording. Spoiler, spoiler, spoiler, probably.
It's a lot of others. There's a scientific recording that comes across as they're trying to basically get rid of this material base. So what's his name? The German director, Werner Herzogge, video?
Yeah. But the scientists are talking about using blood to infuse subjects. Obviously they're trying to create. The emperor flows from...
They're trying to force jet users. Honestly, they're trying to force force users. I thought it was for the Palpatine clones. It did kind of look like that in that tank.
That back to tank they had? They kind of look like Snoke type of vise? Snork? Snork?
Snark? Snark? I had to go thundercats. Sorry.
I'm going to say at the end of every episode, he's like, I thought I was just bitter. They're like, Snark. Like I said, you realize that one is kind of something with the boys where they're forcing supers. Yeah.
So it's also something that just makes me think about sports dozing when they're swapping blood. Yeah. That's just where my brain hits. You just want to be close.
I think they're recording. And he says MCAT. And I'm like, oh, oh, oh, oh, you're going to go to the audience. And I'm going to say MCAT and I immediately think mine comps, it's kind of in conversation a couple of times recently.
So it's just in that play. Okay. How often you talked about men comps? It was a conversation about Trump and how he probably can't read.
And so he probably doesn't have a picture Bible just a picture version of mine comps. Well, and if you listen to this funny, that's funny. It depends on how much you listen to Stephen Lynch, too, but there's a whole song. I think you're a Nazi.
I think so. Where you talk about it, because you read mine comps and you do the high hailstorm, it's a song written from a guy's perspective talking to his girlfriend or his dating partner about why he thinks she's a Nazi. But like I said, no, I was hanging out with Ryan, who's also on another podcast, different Ryan, sorry. It doesn't talk.
How dare you? I don't want to say it. Like I said, I don't want to out him. I could tell you off camera.
I don't want to out him. No, it's just not. No, it's fine. I'm just talking about it.
But like I said, that came up in conversation, which led to a conversation about the horrible racial caricatures, mostly in German papers, Jewish people at the time. And I'm like, that's probably what the picture book of mine is like. Yep, I'm like, I need to stop thinking about this. It's hurting my soul and my brain.
Yeah, the chlorine. Yes, I'm not either, but we'll see how far he goes. Maybe he just used M count as like a... Not do it.
Yeah. Well, and the thing is, look, it's nice to not do it. Oh, it connects the Mandalorian to both the prequels and the new sequels. Yeah.
And he does that a lot. Like the Stormtrooper troop transport that never showed up in a movie, but was it? It was like, but he finally used it and we're like, yes. My things are setting up something that's going to shake Mando to his core, which is the whole thing with kitty sack offs, whatever.
Yeah, he finally realized that he was part of a cult, basically. He's the original welder of, well, one of the wielders of the Black Saber in Star Wars Rebels, which I didn't watch. Oh, no, Rebels. Cold Wars.
No, Rebels. Cold Wars. No, no, Rebels. Do we need the pause so you guys can look up?
No, we need a pause. I'm going to look up right now. No, no, no. Anyway, shake into the core.
So anyway, yeah, like he's part of a cult. Well, and that, you know, the Mandalorian's like, I got the fucking helmet and that he doesn't really, like he goes, what does he say about Mandalorian? He goes, it's a cursed place. If you go there, they die or people die.
The planet's cursed. And he's like, that's what they want you to think. That's what the Empire wants you to think. And that's what, um.
Several season four episode heroes of Mandalorian. Okay, sorry. Fuckin' Jesus Christ. I was just happy some lady from The Flash was on it.
She was in Clone Wars over time though, because she was still part of the- I never watched either one. She was in, I think- No, the character she's playing. She's gonna be like, she's been lost. Yes, Katie's back up.
She's been in lots of shit. She's been in lots of shit. Yeah. Yeah.
We heard that they were gonna have whatever her name is, Ashaka, whatever. So they're gonna- Yeah, they named her up on that episode as well, the heiress. The Anakin's Padawan. They were pissed that it was Rosario Dasa, not the voice actress.
I don't know who- I don't know who- I don't know who- I didn't watch Clone Wars or Rebels. Clone Wars, I like the look up, because that was Gennie and Tarkovsky who did it. I like the look of A look at the look of A look at the phone wars better. I watched Rebels and- That was a- Like, small CGI one, right?
Yeah, it was more anime-ish. Yeah. Not a lot, but I didn't like the style of drawing too much. To me, Clone Wars- That sounds a lot of character is a country.
Clone Wars with the straight lines and shit reminding me more of Batman. Oh, BTAS and all that. Well, that was Gennie, Tarkovsky who did- Yeah, Batman the Animated Series. You can't just say Batman the Animated Series.
I'm still on the SCP test. You realize that sounds like a Korean pop band. Oh, wait. Or a weird sex thing.
Oh, yeah. I tried to look up for Mexican Halloween the other day, but I thought- No, because the community references literally go to the next one. I thought- Where were you laughing at this one? I thought- No, I looked it up.
There's definition support. Urban D- They're all over the place. They're all over the place. Yeah.
They were like eight different descriptions of Mexican Halloween. No, we looked it up last time. We all together. Oh, that's right.
You googles for it, but they're out there. You can't just go to the dictionary. Well, that's what I did. I was with the Urban D- Dictionary.
We got the Clone Wars, Dexter's Lab, and Samurai Jack. And when you look at Yoda from that, you're like, oh, yeah, there's that art form. There's Jack. Well, I watched the- I was going to say follow up season.
They kind of closed their season of Samurai Jack pretty recently. And the art style changes, but it's not jarring. Well, yeah, it still relates to the old art style. And I had to say, I was like- It's more like- It's more like- Well, it's also modernized.
Well, it's exactly what I was saying. But the last season of Samurai Jack was maybe a couple years ago. And the last season before that, Samurai Jack was like ten years ago. It's just one of those things where they seemed to learn that they needed to evolve their art style because in the first season, yeah, it's enough.
Fucking lord. Like I said, in the first season when he's actually transported through time, they have him, you know, transforming into basically the spiral of the rest of their time. They stopped using that by the second season because people hated it so much. And I always hated it.
So sometimes an art style throws you off, and maybe that's why you weren't so into certain other- What was that? He's choking down his liquor. I was going to say something. You can relax and let it happen.
It'll be easier. Just don't clench. Yeah. Just relax.
Gator. I was thinking of art styles that threw me off, but a story is actually pretty good. I finally pounded for a chew book one. I was going to- I wanted to bring that up.
Well, I tried. And so that- I finally talked about that forever ago. No, it's excellent. I finally figured out what bothered me about it.
One, it's the full-on 70s color palette. And two, it's the fact that the character who's supposed to be his mentor is so over the fucking top from the fucking beginning, I didn't trust him in the slightest. The man's a giant fucking sea captain. He basically needed a peg leg and an eye badge.
It was his name, too. Okay. Sure. I have to go look.
It's on my shelf- Is it a shelf on the shelf? Is it a shelf on the shelf? I don't know. I don't know how loose the ice is, but it's in the freezer on that right-hand side.
The drawer. I don't know how loose the ice is, but you can try to fuck it. Pass, Jesus Christ. Back to chew.
But yeah, John Lehman, the guy that wrote it, when they were emailing back with him and- I can't- the artist knows that. I had something Gilroy. I can't grab it off the shelf. I can remember the last and most important part.
Said that they wanted- what are the fucking characters' names? To be a cross between like, like, like a standing British gentleman and a grizzly bear. And I think that worked. I sound more like Fat Gorilla.
Yeah, but the way he moves is different. Because he moves faster. He does. He actually is very skilled at it and fight-wise.
And they explain that later. They really do explain why. Basically, I need to suck it up and deal with book one. I don't know why you have such a hard time with chew.
It's great. The art's great, the color palates great. I'm having a hard time with- I've only made it two thirds of the way through. I'm having a hard time with the Doom Patrol book one with the Chard Wave Run.
Oh, the drug way. Yeah. That was it. I think it's because I watched the show first, and so unfortunately my brain's already a little populated with ideas.
Well, Danny the Brick is in the Chard Wave version. And Danny the Street is in the Grant Morrison version. So they're kind of starting to combine ideas. For me, it was that the covers have certain connotations with the falafel sandwich on the first issue.
Yeah. And the only thing that happens with the falafel sandwich in that first issue is that it explodes in the trash can. And Robotman comes out of it because he was fighting on a weird falafel universe. Which, for Chard Wave, makes total sense.
I'm still having a really fine time waiting through it. I need to pick up the second volumes out. I've been rereading Grant Morrison's even Visibles and just falling in love again is an understatement. Oh, my God.
Thank you. The latch doesn't work. Doors. How did they work?
I had to say with the take you on through the other side. Damn it. No. I don't like that band.
I don't like that band. I don't like that band. Have you watched Doom Patrol at all? Yeah.
I like that. I'm happy with the second season. I haven't done through the second season yet, but I did watch it. Maybe you should not.
I had to get the part with the Jack. The butterfly. Yeah. Like I had, that was one of those crazy fucking moments in the great Morrison run that I love.
