29.17: 1 Kings 9: Follow God with Integrity and Godliness and Obey Him, Simple, Right?

God heard Solomon’s prayer at the dedication of the temple.  His presence in the temple made it Holy. Now, God expects Solomon and  his descendants to follow God’s instructions and commandments with  integrity and godliness. If they do, everything will be fine. If they  don’t…. Well, as we will soon see, it’s not that simple. It’s not that  easy. The lust of the flesh, pride, and the lust of the eyes gets the  best of Solomon and the kings that follow in his lineage. Until, of  course, King Jesus, the sinless, spotless, Lamb of God comes along. Let’s dig in….
