In addition to this, the lecture is then going to explain what the prayer of such a wealthy man is all about. What makes this an issue is that the Torah mitzvah of prayer is to ask G-d for one's needs (-See Maimonides, Laws of Prayer, Chapter 1 Law 2), and thus, how can a man with truly no needs fulfil the Torah mitzvah of prayer? The practical modern day issues that we will extrapolate from this mystical journey are: (a) How can we connect with this level of wealth (b) How can we take our prayers to this level? This lecture is based primarily on a maamor the Rebbe delivered, on this Shabbat in 1969, exploring the spiritual dimension of an illogical mitzvah and of the prayer of Moses.
