29. College Bound

from Fathers Fire · host Jody Sedrick

Hey Gents, Welcome to FathersFyre. This week I share my experiences helping my daughter pack up for college and then driving down to Utah Valley University, UVU. Yes, it was a rollercoaster of emotions especially for my daughter Ke'lani and mom. We meet Coach Sam Atoa for a personal tour of UVU and hear some key words of wisdom he had for my daughter and the other new athlete joining Ke'ilani.   Coach Atoa Nuggets: “On time is late. Be early”. It gives you time to take care of the unexpected. It gives you time to prepare. Culture of respect. Respect for your coaches and teammates by showing up on time. The way we talk to each other working to build each other up Communicate Be accountable for your mistakes Sorry for the wind in the audio I walking out in the cold to collect and share my thoughts.Thank you for joining me.
