29: Connor Wynne Embracing The Next Man Up Mentality At The Bradford Bulls

2026 could have looked different for Bradford Bulls winger Connor Wynne after he agreed a deal with Hull Kingston Rovers before the pressures of their salary cap caused that deal to fall through.Hull Kingston Rovers loss has been the Bradford Bulls gain with Wynne’s standout performances so far, including his two tries in each game against Hull FC and St Helens, and his incredible try-saving tackle on Tommy Makinson in the home win against the Catalans Dragons. The former Hull FC man says he is grateful that Kurt Haggerty has believed in him and given him that chance to restart his Super League career. With injuries to Jayden Okunbor and Waqa Blake, Wynne has adopted and bought into the next man up mentality of being ready to take his chance. Despite a tough evening dealing with high balls against the Huddersfield Giants on Friday, the 25-year- old knows he must be the best version of himself to secure his place in the team.
