29. Four Feminine Practices to Connect With Your Body

from Weaving the Wild · host Rachel Hodgens

In this episode I’m sharing four very simple, but potent practices to help you connect to your body. From movement to herbal steams, each of the practices I share are ones that I use regularly and which form a pivotal part of my journey in connection to my feminine body. Some of the most potent practices that I’ve explored in my own reclamation of the Feminine, have actually been one’s that centre around my own body. The more I seek to call in and connect with the energy of the Feminine, the more I learn that my body holds so much of the answer. My body holds the wisdom of the Feminine deeply. It’s in my bones. It’s within each and every layer of my being - woven into my muscle, sinew and fascia. It’s deep, deep within my womb space. It’s there, beating in my chest. Flowing through my hair and tingling in my skin. The more I have explored practices that drop me into my body and discovered new layers to connect to within my body, the more I have felt the Feminine rise and seep throughout the rest of my life. Because it’s not just about ‘self-love’ of your physical body. It’s about self-awareness and understanding. For me, living and embodying the Feminine simply means living embodied. Em-bodied. In-body. It’s a coming home, and a rising within when you spend time with your own body. To choose to serve, learn from and hold space for your own body. In this week’s episode, I’m sharing four of my go-to practices that I personally use on the reg, to connect to my body. In this episode I dive into: ➳ Why it’s important to consciously connect with our bodies ➳ The effect that today’s culture has had on our relationship with the female body ➳ Four powerful practices that I have found instrumental in connecting to my own body and unravelling the flow of the Feminine even more in my life "Move It All Out" playlist on Spotify can be found here. If you enjoyed this ep the sweetest thing you can do to let me know is to screenshot it and share it on IG – nothing makes my heart sing like seeing who is listening in and seeing you share the show with others.
