29. Laos In Las Vegas With Viengsouk Markthepharack Chan

What a treat to speak with Viengsouk Markthepharack Chan aka Sue the queen, the boss at Spa Bellagio! We had the privilege of working with Sue and getting to know her through our years at the spa. Originally from Laos, she shares her story of being in a communist camp for 6 years and then escaping to the US. Admired by everyone, she is now retired and enjoying her days with her family and still carrying out her responsibilities at the Wat Lao Khantidhammaram Buddhist temple. We interviewed her at the beautiful temple and had the special sweet treat she made! After hearing her story, we can see why Sue was never one to complain over small things. Her work ethic and respect for others always stood out. We are blessed to have the chance of having her in our lives.
