29. #MeToo in Choral Music
from Choir Baton · host Beth Philemon
The episode I didn't want to record but literally could not stop feeling the universe impressing upon my heart that I must. It's the ugly truth, inappropriate advances and relationships occur in all aspects of life. For me, it was a text message from a long admired and respected choir professor from my undergraduate university. My hope is that in sharing my story, other people know they are not alone if they have experienced anything even related to this. I encourage everyone to communicate with someone they trust if they have experienced any level of inappropriate misconduct.
