This week, I had a lot of fun as my daughter Maxine and I lay bare the good, the bad and the not-so-great sides of her journey to academic excellence in her GCSE's. We have a candid conversation about what it entails, both from my perspective as a parent and teacher and from hers as a child and student. I share the five elements of success every parent needs to be focus on in their parenting to enable them raise academically successful children, while Maxine highlights the ten fundamental lessons she has learnt on her journey so far.
