Episode Description
292 - Anton Fig
It was the Anton Fig album "Figments" where I first became familiar with trumpet star Chris Botti. He performed on a stunning song entitled "Tears." The beginning of this episode features a report of seeing Botti and his spectacular band at the Frederick Brown, Jr. in Peachtree City, Georgia
Musician Anton Fig was the drummer for the CBS Orchestra on The Late Show with David Letterman since the band’s inception and before that the drummer on Late Night with David Letterman’s World Most Dangerous Band. Hi debut album “Figments” was released in 2002 and features an all-star cast. He was kind enough to call in and we had this great interview which we are pulling out of the archives for this episode.
