The Adventure of Huckleberry Finn 4 Tom and Huck decided to take Jim out of aunt Sally's hut. Tom decreed writing a warning letter is more exciting. Receiving the warning letter, Silas recruited 15 men with guns to guard the hut. Huck saw those 15 men with guns and fled to warn Tom and Jim to depart at once. Tom's noise alerted the men who fired guns and triggered hound dogs. Search dogs knew the boys and the boys were safe onto the canoe and the raft. Tom's leg was shot. Jim and Huck hurried Tom to the hospital and Tom was retrieved back to Sally's house. Aunt Polly went to visit sister Sally. Polly uncovered the secret that Tom was Huck, and Sid was Tom. Tom revealed that judge Thatcher had ensured Huck's money from Huck's dad. Jim revealed that the dead man on the little house in the river that night was actually nobody else but Huck's own dad.
