He is considered one of the preeminent drummers in the world. Marotta has had a lot of experiences from touring musician, work as a session drummer for John Lennon, Paul Simon, Peter Frampton, Peter Gabriel, Warren Zevon, Kenny G., James Taylor, Hall & Oates, Linda Ronstadt and many others. With his brother, the accomplished Jerry Marotta he fronts the Marotta Brothers Band. This interview with Rick Marotta was as relaxed and breezy as the atmosphere of the day it was recorded.
