296 - Holidays (2016) Review

A dark and twisted spin on everyone's favorite holidays in an anthology exploring traditions and what we've come to know and love.Holidays is a horror anthology that tells 8 tales based on several popular holidays including Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Christmas, and New Year's Day. This film has a strong director lineup including stories from Kevin Smith, Adam Egypt Mortimer, Dennis Widmyer, and Scott Stewart among others, as well as some surprise acting appearances from Seth Green, Harley Morenstein, Sheila Vand, and Lorenza Izzo. While the movie had an interesting theme and some standout stories, it's a mixed bag with half of the stories unable to deliver and lacked a wrap around.
