296: I’ve Got a Lot of Lovin to Do!❤️

Steven and Meg have been visiting with family, it was a quick domino like experience.  Steven probes a KB’s question to discuss the distinction between relationships forged in either egoic reasonings or Higher Consciousness.  “Even when we begin to understand the power of our thoughts to determine the life we are going to experience, things can appear to be—a little more complicated when you start including your boyfriend can’t they?  Because it’s true…through the power of our mind we are continually creating the conditions of our life. And through the power of your boyfriends mind, he’s continually creating the conditions of his life.  So is this some kind of a stale mate?  No.  You’re not responsible for the life he’s creating, no more than he’s responsible for the life you’re creating. We are always making use of this innate creative power of the mind, whether consciously or unconsciously; the thoughts, attitudes, and beliefs we hold are shaping what we will experience, our present tense beliefs are reshaping our tomorrows. The desire for a richer life, fulfilling relationships… has always been at the heart of human striving. Something within each of us, in our innermost being, knows that greater possibilities, in every area, exist for us. Though we may sense these possibilities only faintly, they evoke a deep longing for fulfillment. This longing is the essence of what makes us both human and divine. To be divine means to possess the power of creativity, to be capable of an expansion that is progressive and eternal.  A feeling of being out of control, is often what happens when the ego, which identifies with a label of love, enters into a relationship.  The ego is thinking, “What’s in this for me? What does this person do for me?
