297-Courage Is Required for Intimacy

We're all insecure.  Which I think is why God says "do not fear" so often in the Bible.  The only one we are to fear is Him. (Which when we get that right, it puts everything else in perspective and it's a lot easier to not fear everything else.) We have to take courage in all aspects of our lives in order to do God's will. And when we fear the wrong things we get off track.  Whether it's fearing rejection or meanness from your wife. Or whether it's fearing what he thinks about your body. When we take courage in one area of our life it permeates to others.
