Visit lisrunning.com to be coached by us!On this episode, the boys had Michael Ottesen on the podcast to recap the Boston Marathon! This was Michael's first World Major Marathon and he was in the elite field! It was interesting to hear about the behind the scenes of the elite field especially from the perspective of someone who has never had an experience like that!Michael had an amazing training block going into Boston - his best ever. Going into halfway he was on about 2:10 marathon pace, got over the Newton Hills well, but at Mile 24 disaster struck. The twinges in his hamstring turned into a massive cramp and forced him to fully stop for about 2 minutes. He was able to struggle to the finish line, just missing the OTQ standard by a few seconds!FOLLOW MICHAEL:IG: https://www.instagram.com/mottesen_runs/FOLLOW US ON STRAVAChrishttps://www.strava.com/athletes/29985667Scottyhttps://www.strava.com/athletes/98633526Dannyhttps://www.strava.com/athletes/23504210CHECK OUT OUR INSTAGRAMhttps://www.instagram.com/lifeinstridepodcast/QALO QRNT SMART RING 10% OFFqalo.com/lifeinstrideSWIFTWICK SOCKShttps://swiftwick.com/15% off code: LIFEINSTRIDEKEN COMBS RUNNING STOREhttps://www.kencombsrunningstore.com/10% off code: LIFEINSTRIDEMASON CONSTRUCTIONhttps://www.masonconstructionanddev.com/CARBS FUELcarbsfuel.com15% off: LIFEINSTRIDESWITCHBACK ELECTROLYTEShttps://goswitchback.co?sca_ref=6278891.uVBEGmtjbbUlcGPZ15% Off Code: OTQBOYZCHECK OUT OUR YOUTUBE CHANNEL:https://youtube.com/@LifeInStridePodcast?si=icd7XfQ4HMmuBRyX
