298. Do Bedtime Stories Show God's Graciousness

Welcome back to the kitchen table. Bethany shares a story about her child who always needed the answers before starting a book. He struggled to enjoy the story, impatiently wanting to know how it ended. Often, we’re the same—wanting clarity in life right away, unable to rest in the uncertainty. Psalm 119:30 reminds us, “The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.” God graciously promises that as life unfolds, he will provide light and understanding. But rather than giving us all the answers at once, his grace invites us to rest in him, trusting his wisdom and timing. Resting in God’s graciousness allows us to embrace the process, knowing that even in the waiting, He’s working all things together for good.
