畫說漢字/圖解《說文解字》/1000個漢字的故事/東漢許慎原著狈（bèi）“狈”是个形声字，本义是一种类似于狼的野兽。甲骨文的“狈”，字形上方是一只狼的形状，中间连接的斜线，表示尾巴，下方的“贝”是声旁。金文的“狈”，将“狼”字移到了字形的左边，“贝”放到了右边，字义没有变化。“狈”的前腿特别短，走路时需要趴在狼身上，没有狼，“狈”便不能行动，所以古时有“狼狈为奸”的说法，表示互相勾结起来做坏事。（狈性奸诈，狼性残忍；狼负狈而行，狈为狼出谋划策，这就是狼狈为奸。）
