2nd June 24 - Psalm 61 and Matthew 7:7-11 - In the Gym! Discipleship disciplines - Emmanuel Baikie
from Christ Church Surbiton Hill · host Christ Church Surbiton Hill
Sunday morning was full of praise, prayer, fellowship and to listen to God's Word. Prayer is one of the most important habits we can develop as followers of Jesus. Not only does scripture command us to pray often, but there are many benefits to building a life of prayer. Prayer connects us relationally to God. In the heart of every Christian is the desire for a more profound, more meaningful connection with the Lord. Prayer, the heartfelt conversation with our Heavenly Father, is the lifeline that God allows us to pray because as a loving Father, he has adopted us as his children and given us free access to his throne. Prayer gives us the opportunity to worship and say ‘thank you’ to God for who He is and for what He has done for us. Head to our dedicated sermon series page to go deeper: www.ccsurbiton.org/sermons
