3.09 Who Wrote Exodus?

from Vol. 1 The Christian History Podcast · host Not Theology. Just how world history intersects with Christian history.

So, who wrote Exodus? The traditional Jewish, and therefore Christian, view is that Exodus, along with the vast majority of the remainder of the Pentateuch, was written by Moses. One religious father went as far as to say that portions were dictated by God to Moses, who wrote it with his own tears. Religious academics, at least some of them, have proposed many different theories, several of which are discussed in this episode. Who, and more importantly what are their theories? Listen and find out. Next week, I’ll begin the history of the Egyptians.   After listening, let me know what you think.
