Right now you're sitting near 31 degrees. Feels pleasant enough. Southern New Hampshire topped out in the low to mid 30s today. Central towns hit about 30. Up in the White Mountains, you peaked around 21 degrees. Now forget all of that. Tonight is a different animal. Southern New Hampshire drops to 3 degrees. Central areas fall to zero. The Whites plunge to minus 4. Wind chills push minus 5 in the south, minus 9 through the middle of the state. That's the kind of cold where your nostrils stick together on the first breath. If you're heading out early Monday morning, cover every inch of exposed skin. Monday stays cold and sunny. Highs only crack the mid 20s. Then Tuesday. The whole script flips. High pressure breaks down. and temperatures rocket up near 40 degrees. A 30 degrees swing in 24 hours. Looking ahead, that warmth comes with baggage. Snow slides in Tuesday night into Wednesday.
