3.1 - Thelma: An untamed spirit, a heart of gold and a woman you might recognize…from the telephone.

Welcome back for Season 3! We’re kicking things off with a bang (or rather, a scooter chase) in Thelma 2024, starring the unstoppable June Squibb. This sharp, heartfelt action-comedy isn’t just about revenge and internet scams, it’s a celebration of badass grandmas, aging boldly, and going out on your own terms.Join us as we talk aging, minions (yes, really), and why Thelma might be the action film of the year.To match Thelma’s bold spirit and unexpected twists, we’re pairing this episode with the 2022 Jeanne Marie Cabernet. With rich notes of black cherry and plum it delivers a smooth finish. Classic in structure but full of personality, this wine refuses to fade into the background — much like Thelma herself.
