#kevo2021 Kevin “Kevo” Aregbe     Kevin "Kevo" Aregbe was born on April 6, 1987 in Houston, Texas. He grew up as a child without his parents to guide him in life. Kevin as a younger adult was known as a trouble maker in the streets. He dropped out of high school before graduating and got himself into some serious trouble. He served time in jail for 8 months for being accused of an aggravated robbery. Luckily, the charges were dropped and he was released from jail. Shortly after Kevin picked up tattooing as a business and changed his life after seeking an education.  He has been on Fox News for the story, "Inmate to Entrepreneur" and started his business with consecutive promises to his community.  Kevin is the owner of “Kevo Tattoos” with two locations in Cypress, Texas and in Houston, Texas. He is also the author of "The Absence of Color: A Letter to African Americans". “The Absence of Color” is book in form as letter to African Americans about their miseducation. The letter explains the influence of Africa toward education and the discredit in the European education system. In the letter he explains how contemporary America has placed a person in a system that don't know who they are, or their history, because it was deleted by slavery. The letter is to encourage African Americans to educate themselves out of a system that does not teach them who they are. He feels that miseducation was key to his prior life in the streets, but the education he received while seeking the truth guided him into change and his people can do the same.
