This week we tackle the hip-hop and rap biopic, Straight Outta Compton. The film stars relative-nobodies and is about the godfathers of gangster rap, NWA. The polarizing group - which included by Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, and Eazy-E among others - rose to fame throughout the 80s and 90s rapping about their struggles and life growing up in the hood. This film does an excellent job capturing that feeling, and tells their story! Tune in to see what made us like this film so much!
